Dr. Josef A. Swetz

dr-josef-swetzDr. Josef Swetz D.C. was born at home on a hill overlooking Mayfield Lake in the Evergreen state of Washington. His grandfather Frank Swetz was a Doctor of Chiropractic from age 44 until he passed at age 80. His father John Swetz is a Doctor of Chiropractic and still practices in the small town of Morton, Washington.

Josef has been around Chiropractic his entire life and was adjusted by his father moments after he was born. He was inspired to become a Doctor of Chiropractic from a very young age. He did his undergraduate work at Eastern Washington University, he then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West here in San Jose, CA in December of 2019. Dr Swetz was nominated as his Class representative and was awarded the prestigious Virgil Strang philosophy award upon graduating.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Swetz loves to camp, hike, read/research, study German language and culture, cycle, play basketball, soccer, baseball, enjoys yoga and even used to breakdance for 15 years! He was part of a dance crew called the Cardboard Kingz. The techniques Dr. Swetz utilizes are Gonstead, Thompson and Diversified adjusting techniques. He also provides nutrition counseling and exercise/rehabilitation recommendations specifically individualized to meet your needs. He is extremely passionate about Chiropractic and truly enjoys taking care of people from all walks of life.
